My Father’s Arrows (MFA) is a interdenominational
Christian ministry uniting believers who love Jesus Christ and desire to serve
Him by providing compassionate care to orphans. We desire to remain united in
the salvation and love of Christ, avoiding the dissension that may be caused by
denominational distinctive. We hold to scriptural mandate James 1:27: Pure
religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the
fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from
the world.
- We believe that the Holy Bible is
the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is only one
Almighty God, the creator of all things, eternally existent and expressed
in the Father, the Son: Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the incarnation and
virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He lived a sinless life, performed many
miracles, shed His blood in His atoning death for a fallen world, had a
bodily resurrection and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for His
Bride.
- We believe that Christ is the
Head of the Church, and He will return in power and glory to gather His
own people and to set things in order.
- We believe that, for the
cleansing salvation of sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus
Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ
paid the redemptive price for our sins and is the only way of salvation.
- We believe in the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit in the new birth, by whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to grow in godliness.
- We believe in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost, that they that trust and believe on Jesus
Christ are saved unto the resurrection of life and are lost and reject Him
unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity
of believers as one body in Christ.
- We believe that we are all
fearfully and wonderfully created in God’s image as morally responsible
beings whose purpose is to serve and glorify God. Mankind chose rather to
serve self-interest and thus all have sinned, creating the need for
repentance and individual reconciliation to God.
- We believe that all human life is
sacred, and that God is the creator of life, including the unborn; all
life is precious in His sight, and we are, therefore, called to defend,
protect and value all human life.
- We believe marriage as a state instituted and ordained
by God for the lifelong relationship between one man as husband and one woman
as wife.
- As a matter of practice, we read and study from the English Standard Version, King James Version, & New King James Version of the Bible.
