Make a Donation
We are so thankful for your donations! We use your donations to provide for the children in foster care. Any foster parent, guardian ad litem, case manager, or investigator can come to our thrift store at any time, with their documentation and get anything that they need for the children, free of charge. We also use the donations to furnish the first apartments of the youth who “age out” of foster care without being adopted. In short, the donated items are either given to the children and youth directly, or sold in order to be able to provide for them indirectly. We love our work, and we thank you for choosing MFA Thrift Store for your donations.
If you have donations, you can just come in the front door of our thrift store, and we will be happy to help get them inside. We accept most everything. Our exceptions are that we are only able to take undergarments and stuffed animals that are new with tags, and we are only able to take mattresses that are in “like new” condition. If items are not in good condition so that we can give them to a child or put them on the sales floor, then the items cost our ministry to dispose of them. Please consider this when selecting your donations.
Unfortunately, we are unable to pick up donations at this time.
We always need volunteers to assist with donation processing Monday- Friday at our warehouse in Jay. We always need volunteers with trucks who are able/willing to pick up large donations in the community and bring them to the warehouse in Jay. We also occasionally need volunteers in our thrift store in Milton. If you would be interested in volunteering, click here or call our Volunteer Coordinator at (850) 675-4403.
