The Body of Christ

The Body of Christ

Recently, I was reading the verses in Corinthians about the different parts of the Church body.  I have always related these verses to how people have different gifts and talents and how one person should not think of themselves as less than another because all the parts are necessary and work together to accomplish great things.  Today I saw these verses with different eyes.  In verse 22 the Bible says, “Those parts that seem to be weaker are indispensable,” and verse 25 and 26 says, “There should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.  If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”

Many times society tends to view children as weak and therefore less valuable.  Often children, especially those in need, are seen as problems more than blessings.  In the church, every person is valuable, even children in need. I have seen some of these hurting children display such a great love for the Father! I have seen them worshipping with all their hearts and boldly telling people about what Jesus has done for them.  I realized that according to the verses in Corinthians they are just as much a vital part of the Church body as any adult.  They are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and right now they need our support! Please consider making a one time donation or becoming a monthly financial partner to help us provide for the needs of these precious little brothers and sisters of ours. You can donate online at  http://myfathersarrows.org/donate/
